Andre D. Corbeil, 42, of Salem, formerly of Peabody, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 23, 2026. He was the beloved son of Andre R. and Victoria R. (Couillard) Corbeil.
Andre was born in Beverly, Massachusetts on February 2, 1984. He grew up in Peabody where he attended Peabody public schools and graduated from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. A talented multi-sport athlete, Andre was involved in Peabody youth sports from an early age through high school where he played baseball and lacrosse. Many of his lifelong friendships were formed through organized sports and neighborhood pickup games growing up.
Andre built a long career as a licensed sprinkler fitter, becoming a journeyman after many years working for several fire protection companies throughout New England. He was known as a hard worker who took pride in quality workmanship and always gave his full effort on every job site.
He had a deep love for fishing and always wanted to be out on the water whenever possible. Andre also enjoyed golf, which became a way for him to stay active and competitive after his playing days in organized sports had passed. Throughout every stage of his life, he built strong friendships and valued the people around him deeply.
Andre will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Andre is survived by his brother Adam Corbeil and his wife Kiva; his aunts Trudy Vanknowe and her husband Doug, Laura Whalen, and Andrea Grey and her husband Tom; his uncles Butch Couillard, Dana Couillard and his wife Monique, and Gregory Corbeil and his wife Rita; as well as several cousins and many friends.
