Marblehead Little Theatre, often called MLT, began in 1955 and has developed into a longstanding community theatre organization serving Marblehead and the surrounding North Shore.

MLT is a nonprofit organization supported by an all-volunteer board along with actors, directors, production staff, volunteers, members and community supporters.

The organization operates from the restored historic Firehouse at 12 School Street, which has been transformed into a performing arts center.

The Firehouse Black Box Theater currently provides flexible seating for up to 87 people along with professional lighting and audio systems.
